Catchment Simulation Solutions (CSS) was founded in 2006 by Chris Ryan, whose PhD research led to the creation of CatchmentSIM, a groundbreaking software tool that set new standards for catchment modeling. What began as an academic pursuit quickly evolved as Chris recognised the real-world need for expert guidance in managing flood risks, transforming CSS from a software project into a dedicated consulting firm.
