Storm Injector Help
Supported Operating Systems: Windows 10 & Windows 7 (64bit only)
Installation: No installation is required, Storm Injector is a standalone EXE file that can be run without installation. No drivers for USB dongles are required except if accessing remote license servers.
Minimum Screen Resolution: 1920 x 1080 (higher resolutions and multiple monitors supported)
CPU and RAM: i3 or better CPU, 8 GB RAM or better
Storage: Output files from hydrologic models can take up significant storage space. 100 GB storage or better recommended.
Internet Access: Internet access is required for automated download of data from BoM and ARR Data Hub portals. If a firewall is in place, white-listing the following domains is recommended:
o http://data.arr-software.org
o https://licensing.csse.com.au (software periodically checks for new versions, also required for online help, activation of software and use of trial software)
o http://csse.com.au (online help)
o https://groups.google.com (Google Group support forum)
High DPI Displays
From v1.1.7, Storm Injector supports scaling on High DPI Displays. This currently works quite well with Scaling up to 150%. Scaling ratios higher than 150% are not recommended at this stage.
At higher scaling factors, you may get better results by right clicking on the Storm Injector exe, clicking the Compatibility Tab, then the Change high DPI settings button, then click the High DPI scaling override option with the System (Enhanced) option.
Also, scaling issues and visual artifacts can occur if your main monitor has a different resolution or scaling than the monitor that will run Storm Injector. For example if you have a laptop with external screens attached, try closing the laptop lid or assigning one of the other monitors as your Main Monitor in settings before running Storm Injector.
