For the last couple versions CatchmentSIM has had the option to turn on multi-threading when using certain time consuming algorithms including Catchment Mapping and DEM interpolation. This enables the software to use more than one CPU in your computer to speed up these algorithms.
Options Form

Starting from CatchmentSIM 3, this option will now be turned on by default for new projects. You can edit this setting in the Project Options form. The default setting is 'N-2' which means it will use all but two of your CPUs to try and strike a balance between speed and not bringing your other programs to a standstill.
