Multi-Threaded Catchment Mapping

For the last couple versions CatchmentSIM has had the option to turn on multi-threading when using certain time consuming algorithms including Catchment Mapping and DEM interpolation. This enables the software to use more than one CPU in your computer to speed up these algorithms.

Raster Impervious Areas

Starting in CatchmentSIM 3, a grid layer can now be used to define impervious proportions for each pixel instead of using vector impervious polygons. This has the advantage of being much faster than the polygon approach and handling more detailed datasets.

Thematic Mapping

Catchment 3 now supports thematic mapping for the subcatchments layer. This allows visualisation of any subcatchment attribute using a colour gradient.
